Official Rules

Number of Players - 4-6

Suitable for Ages 16+

Setup

Firstly, ensure all players have access to a working pen, some paper and a communal timer. Next, shuffle the prompt cards and place them in the middle of all players. Finally, determine which player is the ‘Virgin Father’ by finding the oldest player in the group.

What is a Dad Joke?

"A joke based on the prompt, typically involving wordplay."

Playing the Game

The ‘Virgin Father’ draws a prompt card and reads it to the players, upon finishing the prompt, the ‘Virgin Father’ starts the timer. Once the timer has run out, the ‘Virgin Father’ will ask each player to read their response and will award 1 point to the best dad joke. After the point is awarded, the player left of the ‘Virgin Father’ becomes the new ‘Virgin Father’.

Winning the Game

A player wins once they have earned 5 points.
